About Land Aid

LandAid House is a landmark achievement in YMCA London City and North’s mission to support young people experiencing homelessness. Officially opened in May 2021, it became the first purpose-built accommodation for homeless young people in London for over ten years, representing a major step forward for the capital’s supported housing provision. The building provides high-quality accommodation in a safe, stable and welcoming environment where young people can begin rebuilding their lives with dignity.

More than a building, LandAid House is a long-term investment in young people’s futures. Over its expected 60-year lifespan, it is projected to support over 10,000 young people, offering not only a secure home but also the foundation for wellbeing, independence and personal development. This project stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved through strong partnerships, with special recognition to LandAid and the supporters who helped make this vision a reality — creating a lasting legacy for young people across London.
