Your YMCA in Crouch End

We want to create an aspiration new home where homeless experienced young people can thrive

We want to do better

for Young People

We have long held an ambition to create an aspirational living environment that not only fulfils young people’s accommodation needs but offers them positive outcomes. Creating opportunities to move out of poverty and cycle of homelessness into employment, education and training, with enhanced life skills, self-confidence and dignity.

Homeless experienced young people deserve a better chance in life, and we know that an aspiration environment provides an ideal incubator. We have already seen this through our transformed site near Old Street, thatnew building has set a benchmark in youth accommodation for London

We believe it’s time to apply these lessons and make a similar impact for young people in and around Crouch End. We want to replace the aging building with new ensuite bedrooms in clusters of six around shared kitchens, with additional two-bedroom moveon apartments and shared social spaces alongside community meeting rooms and a raft of environmental enhancements.

This onceina-generation opportunity will shape the lives of 10,000 homelessexperienced young people over the next 60 years and will enhance the Crouch End community.
